To help us explore this, consider what you find persuasive, and how does it relates to what someone in another culture might find persuasive. Online, locate a persuasive advertisement for a product targeted to those in your culture. Then, locate a persuasive advertisement for a similar product but targeted to those in another culture. How are the ads similar and different? Which one do you feel is more persuasive and why? Post a link to both advertisements (make sure you identify which one is targeted to your own culture, which one is targeted to another culture, and which one your find more persuasive) and respond to each of these prompts.

 

To complete this assignment effectively, follow these steps:

1. Find Two Advertisements

  • Advertisement 1: Locate a persuasive advertisement for a product targeted to your own culture. This could be a product like a car, food, or technology, but ensure it appeals specifically to cultural preferences and values.
